where is the best place to attach an outdoor CAR thermometer for outdoor temperature?
What has worked best for me overall is the front of the car, either dangling free in the grill or hanging down below the front. Attaching it directly to the car can result in the sensor getting heated by the warmth of the car itself. I once also dangled the sensor of an outside mirror and that works well for the most part, though it may not be aesthetically pleasing.
